Job Description:

Community Engagement Coordinator – Two Compensation Models

Position: Community Engagement Coordinator

Location: Contender Esports Springfield

Reports to: General Manager

This is NOT a sales position: JEC's are not required to do any sales. We have a sales department and call center.

Position Overview:

At Contender Esports Springfield, we are seeking enthusiastic and independent individuals to join our team as Community Engagement Coordinators. This unique role allows you to help promote and book a variety of events, including birthday parties, corporate events, and group gaming sessions. You will work both in the local community and in our gaming center, engaging with families and businesses to grow our event bookings.

As a Community Engagement Coordinator, you can choose between two compensation models:

A commission-only model where your pay is based on the number of events you book, providing unlimited earning potential.

A fixed hourly wage model where you will be paid your standard hourly rate for outreach and event hosting, plus commissions for the events you book.

This flexible role allows you to take charge of your schedule, find new opportunities, and help build the Contender Esports community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote events (birthday parties, corporate events, group events) by attending local festivals, sports tournaments, schools, and community gatherings.

• Distribute promotional materials and business cards to families and businesses, offering incentives like free play time to drive visits to our center.

• Collect contact information (name, phone, email) from potential clients for follow-up and bookings.

• Book events: Secure bookings for birthday parties, corporate gatherings, and group sessions at Contender Esports.

• Host and work events: Once you secure bookings, you will work in the center to host these events and ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests.

Compensation Options:

You can choose between two compensation models:

1. Commission-Only Model:

Earn $90 commission for every birthday party you book.

Earn 25% commission for corporate events, group bookings, and other events.

Earn monthly commission on every membership that is sold under your name.

Opportunity to work at the events you book and earn your standard hourly wage during those shifts.

2. Hourly Wage Model:

Earn your standard hourly wage for outreach efforts and event hosting.

Earn hourly wage for every birthday party or event you book.

Earn monthly commission on every membership that is sold under your name.

Submit your schedule for approval one week in advance and attend local events to promote our services.

Requirements

Ability to work independently, manage your own schedule, and attend local events.

Strong communication skills to engage with families and businesses, promoting Contender Esports as the premier event space.

Ability to meet minimum benchmarks for outreach (e.g., passing out 30 cards per hour, collecting contact info from 20 people per hour).

Organizational skills to track and report on your outreach efforts and booked events.

Willingness to host and facilitate events at the center once booked.

Why This Role?

• Choose your pay structure: Pick the compensation model that works best for you, whether you prefer commission-based earnings or guaranteed hourly pay.

• High earning potential: Regardless of the model, you have the potential to earn significant commissions on top of your hourly pay for the events you book.

• Flexible schedule: Manage your own time, attend local events, and help build the Contender Esports brand within the community.

• Hybrid role: Engage with the local community while also hosting events in the center, giving you the best of both worlds.
